Snow activities in Norway

A range of fun-filled activities and picturesque sites are available in Hafjell and Lillehammer in Norway for young and old.

If you are interested in a memorable ski experience, Hafjell and Kvitfjell Alpine Centres are close by. And if you want to do some Nordic cross-country skiing, Norway’s largest network of cross-country trails starts right at the top of the gondola lift at Hafjell. By following the network of nordic ski trails you can ski all the way to Nordseter, Sjusjøen and Lillehammer.

If you would rather do something other than skiing, there are a number of other fun family activities available locally: Lekeland Hafjell, Lazerland, The Road Museum, the Norwegian Olympic Museum, Maihaugen, Lillehammer art museum and many others.

If you are interested in a more fast-paced adventure, a trip in the Lillehammer Olympic bobsleigh and luge track or a snowscooter safari may just be the right thing for you.

Ice and snow

Winter park
Hunderfossen Winter park will be open every Wednesday and Saturday from Dec 30th until March 6th. The period fram Dec 30th until February 6th there will be guided tours and from Feb 13th until March 6th it will be ordinary open. See information about openinghours and prices for more information. Snow hotel

In the middle of the Winter park you will find the Snow Hotel. With elegant lighting and location close to the fairytale castle - an unique accomodation experience!

King Valemon Ice bar

A beautiful and magical adventure in ice and snow. The mighty Polar bear Kvitebjørn greets you when you arrive. Unique atmosphere and perfect for an aperitif, light meal or gathering in advance of a delicious dinner in Trollsalen Restaurant. Nothing like it anywhere!
