Wheel bob
The wheelbob is a very popular activity during the summer season. It holds 4 passengers in addition to an authorized pilot, and reaches speeds up to 100 km/hr. Age limit: 10 and 11 years when accompanied by an adult; 12 years when riding alone.
Safety
All the sledges have been approved for use by tourists, and the use of a helmet is mandatory. We recommend that individuals with injuries to the back or neck or who have lung and heart problems should not participate. The ride is not suitable for pregnant women.
Facilities
A room at the finish line at the Bobsleigh and Luge Track can be used as a lounge, meeting room, etc. Timekeeping equipment, a scoreboard and a sound system are also available for rent, and a kiosk sells souvenirs and other items. A diploma featuring your photograph is also available for sale.

Maihaugen open air museum
Maihaugen is an open air museum with 200 old and new buildings, exhibitions, cafes and lots of activities. It was founded by the dentist Anders Sandvig in 1887. In 1904 the museum was moved to Maihaugen.
Maihaugen tells the story of people in the Gudbrandsdalen Valley the last 300 years, of life between the wars in the inland town of Lillehammer and of homes and domestic environments in the 20th century. The calm and spacious landscape of the museum provides insight and time for reflection.

Hafjell Golf
A parkland and forest course with large greens and many bunkers, offering many challenges. Nine hole course, the shortest 76 metres and the longest 470 metres; we have put the emphasis on high quality and lots of detail. All streams have stones set into their sides, several tees are stone built and existing forest has been thinned out to facilitate play.
Hafjell Hotel have gree fee tickets to the golf course.

Hafjell Bike Park
Hafjell Bike Park is renowned as the best Bike Park for downhill riding and has expanded and developed the trail network and the rider`s facilitites since last season. Some of the bike trails have a vertical drop of 830 m, varies in difficulty with jumps and drops for the ”nut balls” and easier lines for the beginners. Snorre Pedersen is the architect of the Park, and back in 2003 he started as a pioneer, digging and constructing the NC-trail. Snorre is described as a magician with bike trails, and over the last 5 years he has designed and transformed the hills of Hafjell into a true paradise for the downhill enthusiasts. Altogether 14 lift- and gondola served trails are carved into the alpine wooden landscape.
Hafjell Bike Park will the venue of European championship Downhill mountain Bike in August. Remember to book accommodation for the event.
Hafjell Bike Shop
Hafjell Bike Shop offers bike rental, bike retail with spare parts, padding, clothes and other eatable and non-eatable bike snacks. The bike shop is the place to gather for the devoted Hafjell riders, where you always meet someone being ready to have a bike chat.
The work shop is there to take care of the mechanical problems, maintenance and repairing of bikes regardless of brand with suspension- and wheelservice included.The Bike Shop keeps open from 09.00-18.00 at the opening days of the Bike Park. More Scott downhill- and terrain bikes for rent: 40 bikes are ready for rental. Reservation is possible. Helmet and padding is included in the rental sum.

Ride the Gondola 586 vertical metres in 10 minutes
The Gondola at Hafjell whisks you easily and comfortably to the top of the mountain where you are dropped off right at the trailheads for inviting hiking and biking terrain. The Gondola cabins can also transport baby carriages and wheelchairs.
Downhill biking
Hafjell is the most developed resort for downhill biking. 14 trails covering all levels offer something for everybody. Hafjell Bike Park holds 45 rental bikes - also for children. Book in advance and try to treat yourself with a unique experience.
Zip line and jungle gym
At the top of the Gondola children can play in the newly installed zip line. Along with the jungle gym the area is about to become a good spot for small adventures.
From the top of the Gondola there are also hiking trails where wanderers of all ages can find the right challenge. Some of the trails are prepared for baby carriage. Our apartments at Alpine Apartments Solsiden are located 300 meters from the Gondola in Hafjell.
